I want having your labor, birth, and\/or postpartum experience beautifully and truthfully captured to be accessible to anyone who wants it. Using my training as a doula to be a calming and empowering presence in the room, my goal is to photograph your labor or birth experience (with as little or as much modesty as you want) for you to cherish and revisit. Whether you choose to have me as your doula as well as birth photographer or not, my goal will always be to help support you in having the birth you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finding someone to be a part of this vulnerable time can feel overwhelming. Inviting multiple strangers into your space or spending time getting to know each photographer to trust them and be comfortable with them in the room during your birth can be a lot. I can be wingwoman, friend, and creative guide through this entire process. I will be there to not only capture each special moment, but to hold your hand every step of the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I commonly hear women question whether or not they want such an “unflattering” and “messy” process immortalized. I completely understand the concern, being heavily pregnant is a hard time to want your photo taken, especially not when you’re working on birthing a baby. Labor might not feel extraordinary or beautiful while you’re in it, but your future self will thank you for being able to revisit those moments of strength. Giving birth will be one of the most powerful and badass things you will do in your life, and I recommend you give yourself the privilege of having it documented to revel in in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
